Every great business starts with a story.
Ours begins with a coach, a few youth sports teams, and a desire to create something special for the kids he served.
Coach Gerald never set out to start a custom apparel and promotional products company. Like many parents, he was recruited to coach his son's and daughter's basketball teams during registration. Before long, he was also coaching softball and baseball, dedicating countless hours to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.
Wanting to build team pride and create memorable experiences, Coach Gerald and his assistant began designing custom warm-up shirts for their teams. The players loved them. Soon, parents were requesting shirts of their own, and other teams started asking for custom designs as well.
The following year, Coach Gerald was appointed Commissioner of the girls' basketball program, where he was responsible for ordering and designing team uniforms. It was during this time that he gained firsthand insight into the challenges coaches, organizations, and community groups face when trying to get quality products while staying within budget.
Like many customers, he encountered the frustrations of large minimum order requirements. If a player joined a team late or someone lost a shirt, replacing a single item often meant purchasing far more than was needed. Rather than accept the limitations of the industry, Coach Gerald decided to find a better way.
Through years of research, testing different printing methods, working with a variety of suppliers, and learning the ins and outs of the customization industry, he developed a process focused on flexibility, quality, and value. What started as a solution for his own teams eventually evolved into a business dedicated to helping schools, sports teams, businesses, organizations, and individuals bring their ideas to life.
